Over a five-year partnership, Sauce Communications helped Australia Post connect with millions of Australians, from bustling city laneways to the most remote outposts, through close to 40 bespoke campaigns celebrating connection, community, and innovation. From national PR rollouts and retail activations to regional roadshows, stamp launches, and grassroots storytelling, our work consistently delivered meaningful moments that resonated nationwide.

This partnership produced some of Australia Post’s most purpose-led campaigns, including the inaugural Regional Pitchfest and the now-iconic Great Aussie Coin Hunt, blending large-scale activation with smart earned media strategies and a deep understanding of regional audiences.

Spotlight: Regional Pitchfest

In 2019, Australia Post launched Regional Pitchfest, a bold initiative to uncover and champion entrepreneurs, small businesses, and big ideas across rural and regional Australia. Sauce led the national PR campaign to drive entries, generate national conversation, and position Australia Post as a catalyst for innovation in the bush.
