At Sauce, we credit ourselves on spotting a good opportunity when we see one. That’s why, when we heard that former WIN Television News Editor and News Reader Jacalyn Cremasco was eager to work her magic in the world of PR, we snapped her up! Not only does Jackie bring more than 10 years’ experience as a qualified journalist to our team, she also comes with an innate understanding of the rural issues facing the local community in the Riverina, PLUS quite an embarrassing number of media contacts.
At Sauce, if there’s one thing we love, it’s team members who understand the issues facing our clients.
With over 10 years on the front line of writing and reading the news in Griffith, Jacalyn not only has experience of reporting on local issues, she lives them every day on the rice, wheat and sheep farm that she and her husband run at Widgelli.
Practical, sensitive and never scared to try new things, Jackie comes with the added bonus of a cracker contacts list in the NSW region. And if all that wasn’t enough, the fact that Jackie’s worked on the other side of the media, means she has the perfect eye for what makes a good story and knows just what the media is looking for.
All in all, PR gold dust!
Sauce’s favourite bit about Jackie:
Jackie’s combination of media experience, excellent writing skills and deep understanding of local issues, including agriculture and water policy, means we’re delighted about the unique ingredient she brings to Sauce, and we know our clients will be too. Plus, Jackie’s no newbie at Sauce. She spent several years delighting our clients before taking maternity leave to look after her twin baby girls. We’re thrilled to have her back on the books!
Jackie’s favourite bit about Sauce:
What Jackie likes most about working at Sauce is the opportunity to use her writing skills in a whole new way – being able to adapt what she’s learned in the news room to public relations, and to be able to do that in the place she was born and bred.
Jackie’s favourite Sauce success:
With her background, Jackie doesn’t think there could be a better fit than working with agricultural groups in the region. She’s redeveloped the websites from start to finish and scripted a historical DVD for the a centenary celebration – combining her rural knowledge with her flair for writing!Back to Who We Are
