Sauce takes out three more awards and achieves an industry record

16 November 2020

Last Thursday night in Sydney, Sauce Communications received three national awards at the prestigious Golden Target Awards run by the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA).

Sauce was named 2020 Medium Agency of the Year, 2020 Agency Team of the Year, and Director Liane Gawne received a bronze for 2020 Leader of the Year. The Agency of the Year Award win was Sauce’s ninth across the Golden Targets and Mumbrella’s CommsCon award programs, which the agency believes to be an industry record in Australia.

Director Liane Gawne said she was incredibly proud of the company’s recognition after a challenging year.

“COVID-19 has been a very challenging time for all industries across the board and for Sauce to have been recognised with these three awards is a testament to the hard work and dedication that my team (past and present) has put in,” she said.

“We are very fortunate to work with such a wide variety of clients across Australia and this recognition provides the continued drive to strive for the best results possible for our clients and ourselves.

“To have won Medium Agency of the Year for the ninth time is even more remarkable when Sauce is a regionally based company up against companies from metropolitan areas, proving to us once again that talent is everywhere and especially in the country!”

Liane added that the Agency Team of the Year was Sauce’s first win in this category, and “a wonderful testament to our agency’s values, culture and the amazing women who work here.”
