Sauce Communications is looking for a vibrant, part time PR professional who either understands technology or, at the very least, can translate the techie stuff into compelling copy to suit a range of verticals!
This is a great part time contracting role that will support a key account – a local software company that’s the global market leader in its space.
This is a role for a hungry intermediate practitioner or an experienced senior who’s happy to be both a strategist and a tactician. You’ll be crafting everything from case studies, media releases and product brochures, to speeches, video scripts and award submissions, so you’ll need excellent writing skills and the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences. A natural networker, you’ll have a strong track record in securing media coverage, ideally within the business, technology, government and education sectors. Because our client exports to hundreds of countries around the world, exposure to international media markets and social media would also be an advantage.
Ideally, we’re looking for a Melbourne-based PR pro, but if you’re fantastic at what you do, we’re happy to look at remote working arrangements. Interested contractors will need an ABN and be able to offer some flexibility with their working hours (if you’re looking for a set number of hours per week, this is not the job for you). In return, we offer good rates, a great team to laugh with and bounce ideas off (meet them here), flexibility and for the most part, interesting work (although let’s be frank, there’ll be dull stuff too!). There may also be scope for additional hours and exposure to other clients as the year progresses.
If you think you'd be a good fit for the Sauce team and for our client, let Sauce Communications Director Liane Sayer-Roberts know on liane@saucecommunications.com.au / 0427 728 232. Please send through your resume and at least three samples of work that showcase your writing style and results.
We welcome applications from working parents or those looking to re-enter the workforce.
